By ordering, you agree to these terms. In short: you are responsible for the photos and details you give us, you review a free preview before you pay, and because every book is made for you, sales are final except for defects or damage.

1. Our product

Memories Made Well ("we", "us") sells personalized coloring books. Your book contains a coloring page made from each photo you upload, a full-color illustrated cover made from the photo you choose, and extra decorative coloring pages that every customer's book can include. Your title and any captions are printed as you enter them.

2. Your photos and your permission

Before uploading, you must confirm that you are 18 or older and have the right and permission to upload each photo and share the information you provide, including permission from a parent or guardian for any child shown. You may not upload anything unlawful, sexually explicit, hateful, or that infringes someone else's rights. We may refuse or cancel any order at our discretion and will refund you if we do.

You give us a limited license to use your photos and details only to create your preview and book, ship it, support you, and as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. How ordering works

  1. You upload photos and fill in the personalization form.
  2. We show you a watermarked preview of your cover and three sample pages before you pay.
  3. If you like it, you pay through Shopify.
  4. After you pay, we generate the rest of your book, run automated quality checks, print it through our printing partner and ship it. We do not send you the full book for approval before printing.

The preview shows only your cover and a few pages. The rest of your pages are made from your other photos in the same way. You will not see the full book before it is printed, so please check your preview carefully.

You are responsible for names, spelling and details. We print exactly the title and captions you enter. Please check your preview carefully.

4. AI-generated illustrations

Your coloring pages and cover are created by artificial intelligence from your photos as stylized line drawings and illustrations, not portraits or exact copies. Likeness will vary: faces, hair, facial hair, glasses, clothing, age and other details may look different from the photo, and small or distant faces are especially likely to lose detail. By default your background is kept, but it may still be simplified; you can choose to simplify it. We cannot guarantee that any drawing will resemble the person or place in your photo. Clear, well-lit, close-up photos give the best results. Printed colors can differ from your screen, and marker ink can show through thin paper; we print photo pages on one side only to reduce this but cannot guarantee it will not happen. Variation in likeness, backgrounds, colors or ink show-through alone is not a defect.

5. Ownership

We own our templates, the extra coloring pages included in every book, and our software. You keep ownership of your photos. We give you a personal, non-commercial license to keep, color and give away your finished book. You may not resell it or reproduce it commercially. Because the illustrations are made with AI, we make no promise that they are protected by copyright.

6. Price and payment

The price, shipping and any taxes are shown at checkout, and you are charged through Shopify.

7. Production and shipping

Books are printed and shipped by a third-party printer, within the United States only, for a flat $2.99 shipping fee. Delivery times shown are estimates, not guarantees. You are responsible for entering a correct shipping address. For lost or damaged shipments, see our Refund Policy.

8. Refunds and reprints

See our Refund Policy. Because your photos are deleted 30 days after your book ships, we cannot reprint or remake a book after that time, so please keep your own copy of your photos.

9. Disclaimers and limits

Our products and website are provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question. Some states do not allow certain limits, so these may not apply to you in full.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
